Dear Library Patrons - please be aware that in an effort to improve the speed and reliability of receiving holds placed on library items, the shipping company used by the State Library of Ohio to share materials between libraries across the state will be changing in April. In preparation for this switch, the State Library has temporarily suspended library-to-library resource sharing. This means that you will still have access to materials at any of the five Highland County District Library branches, but statewide sharing will be paused, so no holds will be placed for items in libraries outside of Highland County. This takes effect Monday, Feb. 28th and will continue through the end of April.
We are very sorry for this disruption to a service you've come to expect from your public library. We will do our best to continue to order new materials to provide a variety of resources for discovery, entertainment, and learning. So please - browse the shelves, ask for help finding items, and let us know if there's something you'd like to recommend. And thank you for your patience and support during this transition period.
