Highland County District Library is excited to announce that all locations will be reopening to the public starting Monday, March 1. All branches will be open normal hours. Current health and safety guidelines will be in place. Curbside service will also continue to be an option. For more information, contact your local library.

Due to public health concerns, the AAARC’s Black History Month program will be divided into two parts this year. The first part will be a virtual broadcast held on February 20th at 1:00 pm to announce the recipients of the 2020 and 2021 AAARC Minority Scholarship. The second part of the celebration will (hopefully) be an in-person event on June 19th at 1:00 pm, at the Hillsboro Library honoring Reverend Wendell Harewood and the scholarship winners.
The Rocky Fork Lake Library will be closed today, Jan. 30th, and Monday, Feb. 1st, while the building undergoes some repairs. All other HCDL locations will remain open.
