95.6% of our library funding comes from the State of Ohio Public Library Fund (PLF). Please contact your senators, congressman, and governor to show your support for public libraries.

The Highland County District Library provides the residents of Highland County, Ohio access to materials and services that will meet their needs for information, enrichment, and education.

Borrowing

 Getting a Library Card

  • Please bring with you to the library a picture ID with your current address to sign up. If your ID does not have your current address, you will need a piece of mail with name and current address.

Computers & Wifi

COMPUTERS + WIFI

Each of our library locations have Internet PCs running Windows XP or Windows 7.

We also have free wifi - check at the circulation desk for location specific passswords.

Users agree and abide to the acceptable internet use policy when utilizing internet access at the library.
Users' library cards must be in good standing (less than $10 in fines); patrons under age 18 must have parental/guardian permission.

Fax Service

We have a self serve faxing and scanning machine at Hillsboro, Greenfield and Leesburg, that staff can show you how to use.  Staff can help you with faxes and scanning at Lynchburg Branch.

Faxing is $1 per page.   

To receive a fax is 50 cents a page.
