Meeting Rooms

MEETING ROOMS

Meeting rooms are available for public use at most HCDL locations. Library programs receive priority, and patrons must agree to follow meeting room use guidelines.

To reserve a meeting room, patrons may either return the physical application to their desired library location or email a completed application to highlandco@highlandco.org. (See link below for application.) Library management at the particular location chosen reviews and approves pending applications.

HCDL Knitting and Crocheting

Whether you're a beginner or a veteran, stop in soon to a local library and connect with others who love to get creative!

 

Hillsboro: Hosted by patron Jenny Young-Ballein, the Crochet Club meets every other Saturday in the meeting room by the Children's Library or upstairs in the bay window area. 11:00 - 1:00. Upcoming dates: July 6, July 11

 

Greenfield Library Temporary Closure

Starting Monday, Jan. 19th, the Greenfield Library will be closed due to a COVID-19 case. It will reopen on Monday, Jan. 25th. The Greenfield Library bookdrop will be open during this time. All other Highland County District Library locations will remain open. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please email highlandco@highlandco.org with any questions.

AAARC Black History Program

The African American Awareness Research Council and the Highland County District Library will present a Black History program honoring Reverend Wendell Harewood and the 2020-21 AAARC Scholarship recipients on Saturday, June 19th, with guest speaker Dr. Craig McKinney.

The program will be held at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene beginning at 1:00 p.m. For those wishing to attend via Zoom, the link is provided below. Those attending in-person are encouraged to wear a face mask if not vaccinated.
