If you signed up for our Christmas Around the World reading program, you are invited to join us for a day filled with crafts inspired by Christmases around the world and meet Santa.

Our crafts will include:

• Travel Suitcase
• Poinsettia (Mexico)
• Yule Log (France)
• Saint Lucia Crown (Sweden)
• Gingerbread House (Germany)

Take a break from your hectic Christmas preparations to enjoy a couple of relaxing hours at the library. You'll enjoy seasonal refreshments, music, and parlor games amongst friends.

You are invited to wear festive clothing, although it is not required. Attendees must sign up in advance, as space is limited. Teens and adults are welcome.

The Salatin Semester is a 12-week course in how to develop and maintain a small family farm that produces a variety of products. The course was written and produced by Joel Salatin et. al., and uses his farm, Polyface Farm, as a model.

Topics include (but are not limited to): irrigation, fencing, on-farm processing, relationship marketing, multi-use infrastructure, ideal farm layout, leasing farms & adding subcontractors, salad bar beef, pastured layers, pastured broilers, etc.

Our course instructor is Ted Rosenmayer.
