September is National Library Card Sign-up Month. This year's theme is The Incredibles, so "Get a Library Card and Check Out Something Incredible!"
Any child getting their first library card at the Hillsboro Children's Library this month will receive a library bag filled with lots of fun stuff.
For a child to get a library card, they must be registered for kindergarten (or older) and their parent or legal guardian must have a card in good standing (old fines must be paid before a child's card will be issued). If a parent or legal guardian needs a library card, please bring in a picture ID (driver's license) and something else that has your name and current address on it (such as a utility bill).
We also invite all patrons to fill out a slip telling us why you think the library is incredible. Returned slips will be put on display in the Children's Library.
