National Library Week is April 4 - 10! Come celebrate at your libraries:
Hillsboro: "Match the Librarian to their Favorite Book!" The patron with the highest score will win a prize! We’ll also have color-your-own bookmarks for you to take home. And, down in the children’s department, help us fill the story pit glass wall with hearts. Stop in to get a heart template or color it here at the library. Teens and adults can participate, too! We’ll also have coloring sheets and word searches for kids to take home and enjoy!
Rocky Fork: Story time by appointment is returning! Plus, enter a drawing for a gift card and browse a Staff Picks display.
Greenfield: "Kisses for our Smarties and Nerds!" Stop by the library and choose from Hershey’s Kisses, Smarties, or Nerds for a treat. Also, check out our “Why Libraries are Important” display and take home color-your-own bookmarks, coloring sheets, and puzzles!
Lynchburg: "Match the Librarian to a Book They Love!" Plus, coloring pages, a word search, a craft based on the children’s book Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, Date Due Bookmarks, and color-your-own bookmarks!
Leesburg: Recommend your favorite books and share why you love your library! Plus, kids ages 12 and under can enter a drawing for a $5 McDonald’s gift card. Teens and adults, enjoy fine-free check-in this week! Also get creative with some special coloring pages!
