Programming Cancelled @ HCDL locations

In response to the evolving situation regarding COVID19, the Highland County District Library will be cancelling all programs, clubs, and activities starting Friday, March 13. At the end of the month, we will reassess for April.

For more information, please contact your local library. The Highland County District Library is closely monitoring information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The health and safety of our customers and staff are a top priority. Currently all of our 5 locations are open and operating under normal schedules. At this time, the library is cancelling all scheduled events and programs until the end of March, at which time the situation will be reassessed. We're working with local health officials and following directions from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). Right now, we are taking additional steps beyond regular practices and cleaning and sanitizing all libraries as much as possible. Everyone has a role to play in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and staying healthy. Please consider those around you and do not visit the library if you are exhibiting signs of illness or if you are not feeling well. Wash your hands for 20 seconds or more with soapy water. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available. 2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands. 3. Avoid contact with people who are sick. 4. Stay home and away from others if you are sick. 5. Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces frequently. 6.
