Live birds of prey are returning this trick-or-treat night to the Lynchburg Branch Library again this year! From 5pm-7pm on Thursday, October 25, come to the library to see these magnificent creatures and get some Halloween candy while you're here! Presenters dressed in Hogwarts robes will feature 3 live avian ambassadors. Up close and personal, you can see and learn about the adaptations which make birds of prey supreme hunters of the sky. The drop-in program will describe raptor diets, habitats, nesting habits and their role in the food web, as well as other interesting topics. Artifacts (such as wings, feet, pellets, etc.) will be available for touching.
The Lynchburg Library is located at 102 South Main St., Lynchburg, Ohio. Please call 937-364-2511 if you would like information about this program or about the library.
